From several villages along the South Coast of Sri Lanka, our SeaSisters range from 12 to 55 years old and include moms with their daughters, working women, students and homemakers. Most of those who join SeaSisters are learning to swim and surf from square one, often stepping foot in the pool or ocean for the very first time! Together, we break down the stereotype that 'Sri Lankan women don't surf'.
